Abstract: Virtual Reality (VR) has emerged as an effective tool for enhancing learning through immersive and interactive experiences. In astronomy education, concepts such as planetary motion, spatial relationships, and scale are inherently three-dimensional and difficult to understand using traditional two-dimensional methods. This study presents a VR-enabled Space Station designed to improve conceptual understanding of the solar system through experiential learning. The system is developed using Unity and the XR Interaction Toolkit to create a real-time simulation of planetary motion. Users can explore a three-dimensional environment and interact with celestial bodies through actions such as grabbing, rotating, and scaling. Scientific accuracy is maintained through dynamic orbital simulation, ensuring that celestial objects return to their original paths after interaction. Visual elements are supported by synchronized audio guidance to enhance multi-sensory learning. The results indicate improved user engagement, enhanced spatial understanding, and better knowledge retention compared to traditional methods. The proposed system demonstrates the potential of VR in transforming STEM education by providing intuitive and effective learning experiences for students and educators.
