Abstract: AI-powered health assistance technologies are gaining increasing significance as many patients try to get instant feedback even before visiting a healthcare provider, which has led to the development of symptom-checking chatbots as an effective solution to this problem. This paper includes a research-like discussion about the AI Healthcare Chatbot System Using Python for Disease Risk Prediction and Healthcare Assistance. This is a web-based tool that receives information regarding symptoms entered by the user, analyses it using a machine learning process, predicts the disease risk associated with it, and provides health advice based on the input received. However, the design does not propose a fully automatic diagnostic system; rather, it serves as a decision-making aid to provide awareness about the risks involved. The architecture consists of a web browser interface, a Flask backend server, symptom normalization algorithms, a supervised machine learning algorithm for disease prediction, and a health assistance module to provide preventive information. Literature from recent times indicates that health-care chatbots should be limited in their scope, understandable and linked to machine learning systems for decision making, rather than providing free-form output.
