A facial recognition system is a computer application capable of identifying a person from a digital image or a video frame from a video source. One of the ways to do this is by relating particular facial features from the image and a face database. Recently Face recognition has received a lot of attention in biometrics, computer vision and network multimedia information access. Various methods are used for it. Comparison of various face recognition techniques has been done by several people. But so far no technique exists which has shown satisfactory results under all conditions. This paper presents comparative study of various methods of Face Recognition Systems.
